About the Healthy Streets Design Check course

Designers and engineers can join a specialist training course for applying the Healthy Streets Design Check for their country.

The course takes participants step-by-step through how to use the Healthy Streets Design Check to accurately assess street designs against the 10 Healthy Streets Indicators and develop designs that maximise the Healthy Streets score.

This training is aimed at practitioners with Foundation level training in Healthy Streets to build their specialist skills in design. Practitioners should have practical experience of street design and the opportunity to apply their new skills in their work during the course.

On completion of this training participants will be considered competent at quality assuring Design Checks completed by other designers

Very engaging, it pushed me to question whether ‘common practices’ were actually ‘best practices’.
It changed how I view streets from both a designer and user perspective.
